Interserve USA is
one of several National Councils around the world who cooperate
in providing means for people to serve God by serving others.
We are part of an international fellowship of Christians who
want to be Servants for the hard places.
- We serve in countries across North Africa, the Middle
East, and Asia and among immigrant people in the U.S.
- We use our professional skills to minister to the physical,
emotional, and spiritual needs of the people that we serve.
- We seek to spread the Gospel where it is least known helping
people understand their options regarding faith, believing
that many will choose to become disciples of Jesus Christ.

Our call is to help people discover and follow God’s will ...
A young man stopped by our Philadelphia office last week. He is exploring cross-cultural mission service and wanted to know more about Interserve. We really enjoy conversations like that. It’s why we exist.
Our call is to help people discover and follow God’s will for their service to others, especially if He is calling them to ministry in the Arab world or Asia. Why there? That’s a big chunk of the world, but more importantly those are the places where the majority of unreached people live. They are also, not coincidentally, difficult places for the gospel; hence Interseve’s motto: “Servants for the hard places”. They are best reached when Christian professionals in every kind of work use their training and skills for ministry.
Of course you don’t have to come to Philly to talk about this with us. There are other ways to communicate, especially at the start. Eventually, we will want to see you face to face, to be friends and partners in ministry. But for now if you are interested in exploring the important matter of cross-cultural ministry, use any means you like to get the conversation going.
