Medical Elective/Rotation
Participate in a medical elective abroad to explore cross-cultural work and serve resource-constrained communities.
Are you a medical student looking for opportunities to gain experience while serving cross-culturally? Our 4-8 week medical electives allow you to hone your skills in a unique learning environment and learn from like-minded Christian professionals. You’ll learn what it takes to use your medical skills in a cross-cultural setting, and you’ll see how God is using humble, practical service to bless the nations. Our supervised placements are in partnership with trusted organizations, allowing you to make a long-term, sustainable impact in regions where the needs are the greatest.
Participants must be in their final year of medical school. Positions are limited, so please consider applying 6-12 months before you hope to go. Placements include secondary and tertiary care options in various specialties, including the ones listed below.
