Community Social Worker
Use your skills in social work to transform communities and make Christ known.
Are you a social worker passionate about building capacity and addressing community needs? Are you interested in international social work? Use your skills where few have encountered the love of Christ. In regions where few, if any, have personally met a follower of Jesus, NGOs and community development projects are looking for social workers to serve underserved and vulnerable populations, including displaced families, people with disabilities, and those impacted by exploitation and substance use. There are opportunities to develop and coordinate sustainable, impactful programs, write proposals, train local staff, and more.
With a 170+ year history in cross-cultural work, Interserve has robust networks of trusted organizations on the ground – allowing you to work with people who grasp the local context and meet regional needs in a sustainable way that dignifies others.
