Project Manager

This is a French NGO with more than 50 local staff and 15 expatriate experts which seeks to implement projects in order to meet the real needs of people and communities who are considered development partners rather than beneficiaries. In collaboration with local authorities the NGO is involved in the areas of support for medical services integrated rural development and inclusion of people with disabilities.

The post holder will ensure the coordination of the project the follow-up of the budget and the achievement of objectives set out in the contracts with the partners. They will train local team members to organize and to implement project activities and manage the teams coordination. They will maintain good relations with the projects financial partners by producing timely reports. They will maintain relations with local authorities at provincial and district level and will help to train partners in the holistic care of people with disabilities. They will work with families and communities to promote their inclusion as beneficiaries. They will participate in the reflection on the first phase of the project and contribute to the implementation of subsequent phases.

The post holder will have a basic training in project and team management along with a minimum of 3 years experience. They will have good report writing and budget monitoring skills. Work experience in the disability field will be an advantage. They will be willing to serve the poorest in a remote province.
