Leadership Staff

Executive Director

Rev. Douglas Van Bronkhorst joined the staff of Interserve on January 1, 2004.  He has served on our Board of Trustees, and was President of the Board for six years before becoming Executive Director. 

Rev. Van Bronkhorst was Senior Pastor of the First Reformed Church of Grandville, Michigan, a position he had held since 1991. He served previously as Senior Pastor of the 1,800-member Walnut Creek Presbyterian Church in the San Francisco Bay area. He holds a Master of Divinity degree from Trinity Evangelical Divinity School in Deerfield, Illinois, and a B.S. in electrical engineering from Michigan State University.

Rev. Van Bronkhorst is married to Kathleen, a nurse, and they have one grown son.

 

Finance Director

Robert Dolan came to Interserve in 1994. Before joining Interserve, Rob was Executive Vice President of Evangelical Ministries in Philadelphia, PA, and also worked at Sun Company. He graduated from West Chester University with a degree in Business Administration. Rob and his wife, Linda, a nurse, have a teenage daughter.

Personnel Director

John Kennedy, and his wife, Janet, joined Interserve in 1998. They served in Holland for 18 years with Youth with a Mission (YWAM). John is an adjunct instructor for missions Eastern University in St. Davids, PA, and is a Doctor of Ministry candidate at Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary. They visit Interserve partners overseas, ministering to their spiritual needs. He also leads Interserve’s twice yearly Candidate School for Partner inquirers. Jan Kennedy serves as Interserve Hospitality Hostess, coordinating special dinners. The Kennedys have three grown children, and one grandchild.

 

Development Director

Jack Huston joined Interserve in 2007.  He works for Interserve via his office in Michigan, where he and his wife, Kathy live.  Look for bio-update coming soon.
