Detainment of Afghan Believer Was Inevitable Say Interserve Workers

“The growing numbers of groups around the country are in danger of similar persecution,” said “Joe,” who works in a large city. “That his new faith was through the work of an international organization also jeopardizes the work of Christian relief in the country.”

“To abandon Islam is to abandon your country,” noted another. “It is a crime to do this, a crime akin to treason and a renunciation of one’s family.”
