Sharon Barker, Texas Area Mobilizer, Resigns

Sharon Barker, Texas Area Mobilizer, resigned from Interserve USA, effective March 31.

Barker worked as a nurse at Multan Hospital in Pakistan as a Field Partner from September 1981 to August 1989. She returned to the U.S. where she worked with the Nurses’ Christian Fellowship in Chicago. In 1984 she relocated to Austin, Texas, assuming the position of Area Mobilizer.

“We honor Sharon’s years of faithful service to the Fellowship and her work in advancing God’s kingdom around the world,” said Doug Van Bronkhorst, Interserve Executive Director.
