Teams Forming for Pakistan Earthquake Relief
Interserve cross cultural workers serving in Pakistan are helping to organize medical teams to do relief work in the northern parts of the country hard hit by the October earthquake.
Particularly needed are general surgeons, orthopedic surgeons, pediatricians, gynecologists, general practitioners, and paramedical workers.
The teams will be centered in Christian Hospital in Peshawar and tent base camps will be set up in Balakot. Medical and other teams will leave from the base camp to the unreached areas, giving medical aid, tents, food, and other basic necessities.
