Nepali Christians to hold outdoor Christmas celebration December 23

On Saturday, December 23, an outdoor Christmas celebration and parade will be held in Tansen, Nepal.

This is a far cry from the days when such expression by Christians of their faith was illegal and often dangerous because of the ongoing civil war between the government and Maoist rebels.

"There will be a program with songs, testimonies, and dancing by members of the Churches, “said an Interserve Partner serving in the area. “It should prove to be an exciting event and an opportunity to let people hear the good news. We ask for prayer for this event."
