Influx of Tourists Have Tibetans Concerned

David Housholder, director of Interserve's EthnoServe ministry, was recently interviewed on Mission Network News where he discussed how the huge influx of tourists into Tibet, due to the completion of China’s Sky Train in June 2006, has many Tibetans feeling uneasy, especially toward mission groups and their work. Tibetans are reserved and generally do not welcome external pressure to change.
