Partners say Ramadan opportunity to build relationships
Ramadan, the Muslim 30 day fasting period which is broken daily with a festive evening meal, is great time to build relationships with neighbors and friends, say Interserve Partners working in Islamic countries.
Ramadan kareem (generous) is the traditional Muslim greeting during this month.
“When invited dine at the breaking of the fast, followers of Jesus greet friends and neighbors by saying Ramadan mubarak, which means ‘May God bless your Ramadan,’” said Lori, serving in Dubai. “It is subtle way to share our faith during this time of spiritual awareness.”
