Teachers of English Needed in Mongolia
Teaching English as a second language is a huge ministry opportunity in Mongolia, according to an Interserve Partner living and working there.
Mongolia, a predominantly Tibetan Buddhist Central Asian country which had a Soviet-style government until the early 1990s, has made English its second official language and is being taught to students from the elementary to university level.
“Native speakers of all ages who are willing to serve short- and long-term are needed to teach and converse with students at after school coffee houses and English clubs,” said Susan Long. “The request for character training from school officials opens the door for us to share the hope that is within us.”
