Ramadan To Begin September 24

Ramadan, Islam’s holy month of prayer and fasting, lasts this year from 24 September through 23 October. Christians can learn about and effectively pray for our Muslim neighbors around the world during their holy month. The “30 Days Muslim Prayer Focus” – started in 1993 by WorldChristian.com – coincides with Ramadan, and Christians are called upon to make a concerted but respectful effort to learn about, pray for, and reach out to Muslim neighbors across the street and around the world.

Interserve USA Personnel Director John Kennedy noted that, “Because Muslims are one of the people groups that Interserve ministers to in relevant, holistic ways, this prayer initiative has been a vital part of the love of God touching the hearts of people in the Muslim world.”
