Partners Eager to Resume Work in Lebanon

The work of Interserve Partners in Lebanon has been interrupted, but not stopped, said Doug Van Bronkhorst, Interserve USA Executive Director, in an interview with Mission Network News www.mnnonline.org/article/8972 on August 22.

Partners hold positions in such areas as healthcare, education, and media. Many who left the country because they might have become targets for kidnapping did so reluctantly, wishing to stay and show the love of Christ and support their friends in need. Some were able to stay, though they needed to curtail their regular work.

“I’m hopeful that they can go back because I think the ceasefire looks like it is going to stay at least for a while,” said Van Bronkhorst.

As always, prayer is requested for the safety and spiritual health of Partners working in this volatile region.
