Prayer asked for Afghanistan

Cross-cultural Christian workers serving in Afghanistan ask for prayers for the country’s government and for the governments of those countries new excising influence there.

“We are very aware of the fragility of our life and work here and how much we depend on your prayers and God’s help,” commented an Interserve medical professional working in Afghanistan. “Relations between the current government and some Western diplomats seem to have become strained over the vigor of the Taliban effort in the south. The government seems to be sending mixed messages regarding welcoming aid agencies working here.”
