Interserve specializes in sending and supporting people for long-term service in the Arab World and Asia. By “long-term” we mean starting with a three-year commitment and hoping for ten, twenty or more years total service. We think this kind of “long obedience in the same direction” is necessary to make a positive, lasting difference for the gospel in the hard places.
We also offer excellent short-term experiences, especially for those who want to explore long-term service. Most of these programs are from two months to two years, so even our short-term is pretty long. You need that time to really learn.
However, we do have some shorter, specialized opportunities, like the June 2012 medical vision trip to India for pre-med students or other students pointing toward a health care career. For more information about any Interserve short-term program, contact our On Track Coordinator at: ot@ludlow.net
